If your looking for cool stuff to decorate with this lantern looks awsome. If you're looking for something to use this isn't the one or anything in a black finish. In all fairness not one single lantern of this type is worth half of its price. The finish is temporary at best, it's a serious pain to fill and it leaks. The wick will feed more on one side than the other needing to be adjusted every single use if you don't want one side smoking heavily with no flame at the other. Seriously it's not just this brand it's all of them offering a failed attempt to recreate a classic lantern. The only sad iorn style lanterns I have that don't look horrible after a few uses are the silver options, even then they all leak and have wick feeding issues. The filler bottle has to be screwed tightly or it will leak.
Just don't, it's just not worth the money. The wooden base is nice and the case while too small is fairly nice.
