But a simple inflatable cavity was never the answer. Springhill sought an "exoskeleton" that was strong, stable, and capable of freeing up space.
We spent countless days and nights exchanging ideas, testing, discarding ideas, and trying again. In the Materials Research Laboratory, we repeatedly verified the abrasion resistance of the 200D Oxford cloth used in the outer layer of the explosion-proof poles, the tear resistance of the PE tubing cloth in the middle layer, and the reliability of the TPU airtight inner layer. Wind tunnel tests simulated a Grade 5 strong wind to reproduce its roar and confirm whether the air poles, despite their apparent lightness, could maintain the stability of a mountain. The air valve structure was thoroughly optimized, with a three-valve interconnected design truly achieving "one-step setup" and simplifying operation by 50%.
The first prototype tent rose majestically in 150 seconds using only a single standard air pump. At that moment, the cold metal poles were gone, and the powerful contours of the air poles supported the elegant, spacious dome.
